General FAQ's

Q: Where are you located?

A: We're located in Ontario, CA, near the 10 Freeway off the Haven Avenue exit. The major cross streets are Haven Avenue and Inland Empire Boulevard. You can find our exact address and map in the Contact section.

Q: Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

A: We accept walk-ins if availability allows, but appointments are recommended to avoid wait times. Please call ahead for walk-in availability.

Q: What are hours are you open?

We are open:

Monday through Friday 11:30 AM to 6 PM

Saturday from 12 PM to 3 PM

Please call for walk-in availability, or book your appointment ahead of time to avoid waiting.

After-hours and mobile services are also available upon request.
Need a rush service? We’ll do our best to accommodate you — just give us a call to discuss any special requests.

Q: What do I need to bring for a Live Scan appointment?

A: Please bring a valid, unexpired Driver's License or state-issued photo ID and your Live Scan Request Form, filled out.

Q: Do you take walk-ins for Live Scan??

A: Yes, but availability is limited. It’s always best to book ahead to ensure we can serve you quickly. Please call ahead for walk-in availability.

Q: How long does a Live Scan appointment take?

A: Live Scan usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

Q: How much does Live Scan cost?

A: Our standard Live Scan fee is $40. Additional fees may apply depending on your request form — including a separate DOJ fee for state background checks and an additional FBI fee if a federal background check is required.

Q: How soon will I get my results?

A: Results are sent directly to the requesting agency. Processing times vary by DOJ/FBI, usually between 24-72 hours but can take up to 10 days in certain cases.

Q: Do You receive my results?

No, the requesting agency gets the results directly.

✒️ Ink Fingerprinting (FD-258)

Q: What cards do you use for ink fingerprinting?

A: We use standard FD-258 fingerprint cards and always have them in stock. If you need specialty fingerprint cards filled out, we can help with those as well — just give us a call for special requests.

Q: Can I get duplicate fingerprint cards?

A: Yes! Let us know during your appointment and we can prepare duplicates for an additional fee.

Q: Do you mail the fingerprint cards for me?

A: We do not mail cards for you, but we give you everything you need to send them yourself.

Q: Do I need an appointment for ink fingerprinting?

A: Yes, appointments are encouraged to ensure a smooth experience and avoid wait times. However, we do our best to accommodate walk-ins when possible. Please call ahead to check walk - availability.

Q: Do you offer mobile ink fingerprinting?

A: Yes! We provide mobile ink fingerprinting within our service area. Travel fees apply. Please call for mobile services and special requests.

Q: Do I need an ID for notarization?

A: Yes, a valid, unexpired driver's license or government-issued photo ID is required for notarization.

Q: Can you notarize documents in Spanish?

A: Yes, we can notarize documents written in Spanish as long as the documents is complete (unsigned though).

Q: Do you offer mobile notary services?

A: Yes, mobile notary services are available. Call or text us to check availability and pricing.

🌎 Apostille FAQ's

Q: What is an apostille?

A: An apostille is a certificate that verifies the authenticity of a document for use in another country.

Q: What documents can be apostilled?

A: Common documents include birth certificates, marriage certificates, notarized power of attorney, and diplomas.

Q: How long does the apostille process take?

A: Processing time depends on the document, destination country, and if it needs a state or federal apostille. Some apostilles can be completed the same day but it can take a few weeks in certain cases.

Q: Do I need to be present for an apostille?

A: Not always. If your document is already notarized or certified, we may be able to complete the apostille without you. If not notarized, we can notarize it with you here in-office.
